Even in this tough economy, a dancer can clear about $50,000 a year, that beats working in a dentist's office or selling homes right now. Women who may not have ever thought about working in the industry are rethinking. By day they are dental hygienists, college students, and office workers, by night they are on the main stage with a fake name. You can use the industry in one of two ways, as a stepping stone or a tombstone. Usually the industry is a pass through so women can go on to bigger and better things.
Is it bad that our economy has become this bad to were more girl are stripping to pay bills? I can understand where these ladies are coming from, somtimes you have to do what you can to support your family. It is sad to see our world come down to things like this.
I agree. As a woman with faith and respect for myself I couldn't do it. But, before I let my kids live on the streets or go hungry move over Candi here comes a new stripper.
