With the nation's unemployment hovering around 10%, Obama administration is releasing a new job stimulus plan. This plan will pump $150 billion into businesses around the nation to encourage hiring and growth; it is expected to create thousands of new jobs in virtually every industry. Obama plans on getting this plan going as soon as possible, it is expected to move through Congress quickly, we may be seeing effects of the plan as soon as March.
Janet Hill says, "the real question is, will you be ready to get those job? The people who go out and get the skills and education get first pick. Fortunately, unemployed workers can get ready for these jobs with online classes and degree programs, which can be completed in a few months."
Its a good thing we are all already in school, i think this plan can help out a lot with all of our problems. We are working hard trying to go to school, as well as providing for our families at the same time; many of us can not even find a job. On the other hand, couldn't this bring us into more debt as a nation?
The President may have good intentions, but I feel that he is helping the wrong people. All of this "stimulas money" would be better spent if it was given directly to the people of this country. Just my opion, but well blogged.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with both of you , Gina and David. Gina I agree with you on that Obama is doing good with the money but where I agree with David is the business going to use it in the right way and get more jobs out there or are they going to screw us and take the money and no jobs. Go Obama! And I hope that the businesess do the right thing but, I am a little concerned that they won't.
