when people think about the lake the picture a boat, ice cold beer, jet skis, and BBQ. The most important thing they forget is boat safety, people get a little crazy when they are out having a good time on the boat. I spent my weekend with my family on my grandfathers boat and I noticed most people did not use any of the main rules for safety. Here are a few rules you should fallow
all children should wear a life jacket at all times.
at night all boats should keep their lights on.
the driver should be sober
always make sure you have enough gas for the ride
it's summer time everyone go out and have a good time. Please take a few minetues out of your day to fallow these rules.

ReplyDeleteGood points. Not sure if people realized that they can be arrested for operating a boat while intoxicated. Most people don't think about these things when the go out just to have a good time. I know I often shrug off some of these things. Thanks for the reminder!
